1. Overview
All Saints University and its affiliates (“All Saints”, “us” or “we”) are committed to protecting the privacy of all website visitors including current and potential students, alumni, faculty, and any other group of users who either visit our websites or respond to our online ads and promotions in order to access services provided by All Saints.
The intent of this policy is to disclose our website and online practices, including how we collect and use the information you provide to us, and the information privacy options available to you.

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on All Saints web sites, unless otherwise specified.

2. Information Collected From You and its Use
We only collect personally identifiable information (i.e. information directly connected with your name), which you voluntarily provide when you express interest in our services through our websites. If you do not want your personally identifiable information collected, do not submit it to us.

All Saints may collect other information from you that is not in conjunction with your name. Although most of this information is collected from you when you submit it voluntarily, some of it may be collected automatically by use of a “cookie.” Cookies are small text files that reside on your computer and identify you as a unique user. All Saints may use cookies to store and sometimes track information about your use of our website. In addition to improving the general layout of the website, cookies allow us to customize our website to each visitor’s individual preferences.   • to analyze how sites and services are being accessed and used and
    to improve site and service performance and delivery

All Saints will not give, sell, rent, or loan any of your Personal Information to any third party (with the exception of third parties performing functions on our behalf who have an obligation to keep your information completely confidential) unless you have authorized us to do so. All Saints reserves the right to access and/or disclose Personal Information where required to comply with applicable laws or lawful government requests or, in All Saints’ reasonable opinion, to operate the All Saints website properly and securely, or to protect All Saints or visitors to this website. To the extent reasonably possible, All Saints shall attempt to obtain the prior consent of the individual to whom such Personal Information relates prior to disclosure to third parties.

In the event that All Saints, or substantially all of All Saints’ assets, are acquired, your information will be transferred to the acquiring entity. In such a situation, you will be provided with notice, prior to the transfer of your information, and you will be given an opportunity to opt-out of the transfer of your information.

3. Google Analytics Data and Display Advertising
All Saints websites use Google Analytics data which also utilize cookies to help track your interaction with our website. After a visit to our site you may continue to see our ads which help optimize our online ad campaigns.

All Saints websites also utilize Display Advertising via Google Analytics for Remarketing. Third party vendors, including Google, show our ads on various sites on the internet and use cookies to determine which ads to display based on your prior visit to our website.

You may opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising by using the Ads Preferences Manager.

4. Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

5. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

(a) User-Generated Content and Public Information. The Site may permit you to submit ideas, photographs, user profiles, writings, music, video, audio recordings, computer graphics, pictures, data, questions, comments, suggestions or other content, including Personal Information (collectively, “User Content”), such as on blogs and message boards. We or others may store, display, reproduce, publish, distribute or otherwise use User Content online or offline in any media or format (currently existing or hereafter developed) and may or may not attribute it to you. Others may have access to this User Content and may have the ability to share it with third parties. Please think carefully before deciding what information you share, including Personal Information, in connection with your User Content. Please note that we do not control who will have access to the information that you choose to make public, and cannot ensure that parties who have access to such publicly available information will respect your privacy or keep it secure. We are not responsible for the privacy or security of any information that you make publicly available on the Site or what others do with information you share with them on the Site. We are not responsible for the accuracy, use or misuse of any User Content that you disclose or receive from third parties through the Site.

(b) Name and Likeness. We may also publish your name, voice, likeness and other Personal Information that is part of your User Content, and we may use the content, or any portion of the content, for advertising, marketing, publicity and promotional activities.

6. Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

7. Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

8. A Note to Parents

All Saints is very sensitive to privacy issues and is committed to protecting the on-line privacy of children and making the Internet safe for our users. As a result, no Personal Information should be submitted to or posted on this site by children under the age of 18 without their parent’s or guardian’s permission. In addition, if a user younger than 18 wishes to send us Personal Information, he or she must first give us his or her parent’s or guardian’s e-mail address so that we can obtain their permission. No Personal Information will knowingly be accepted from a child under 18 before this permission is obtained. Be assured that All Saints will not make a child’s participation in any website activity conditional on the child’s disclosure of more Personal Information than is reasonably necessary to participate in that activity. If your child has already provided us with Personal Information, you may ask to see this information for the purpose of correcting it, or ask us to delete this information from our records entirely (see “Who to Contact” below.)

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. If you decide to access a third-party site linked to the All Saints web site, you do so at your own risk. 12. Changes
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy and your use of our Site indicates your consent to the privacy policy posted at the time of use. However, we will not use your previously collected Personal Information in a manner materially different than represented at the time it was collected without your consent. To the extent any provision of this Privacy Policy is found by a competent tribunal to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed to the extent necessary for the remainder to be valid and enforceable.

13. How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

14. What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
