International Students Process
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS PROCESS
We welcome International Students! Our student body is diverse and comprised of students from all over the world. You are considered to be an international student if you are not a North American or Caribbean legal resident (ie. non-Canadian, American or Caribbean student) A TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) examination score may be required from applicants from countries where English is not an official language if the applicant is unable to demonstrate proficiency in English during the Interview and Application process.
TUITION
International students follow the same fee structure as the US and Canadian citizens. Upon completion of the Basic Science component, students are assisted with their visa processing for entry into the US or other countries for their clinical rotations.
VISA REQUIREMENT
On acceptance students are required to submit the necessary documents to process their visa. A transit visa may be necessary for travelling to St. Vincent through some countries. A visa is required for entry to St. Vincent from the following countries: Dominican Republic, Jordan, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Nigeria and China.
Documents Required To Process A Visa
- Copy of your Passport (all pages)
- Health Clearance from the country of origin (should include TB and HIV test reports)
- Police Clearance from the country of origin
- Proof of Financial Support from parents or guardians
